Vaniqa Cream Uses? |

Unwanted facial hair grows more slowly when you use Vaniqa (pronounced "VAN-i-ka"). This is achieved by the medication's interference with an enzyme in the hair follicle that is required for hair growth. Vaniqa will not completely stop hair from growing, and it will not remove hair that has already appeared.
You will find it necessary to continue using whatever hair removal program you are currently using. Vaniqa, however, will make your problem with unwanted facial hair more manageable. |

Vaniqa Cream Directions? |

Spread a thin coat of Vaniqa into the areas of your face where you have unwanted facial hair. Massage it into your skin and do not wash the treated area for at least four hours after application. Follow the enclosed directions carefully.
You should apply Vaniqa two times each day. Each application should be a minimum of eight hours apart. Vaniqa is to be used only externally.
For several weeks after beginning Vaniqa you will need to continue your normal hair removal regimen. Once the medication begins working, you will spend less time in hair removal and be able to do it less often.
Women can generally continue using their regular facial products and makeup while using Vaniqa. However, make sure to allow plenty of time for it to be absorbed into your skin before putting anything on over it.

When you begin applying Vaniqa, you may experience some mild side effects as your skin gets used to the medication. These may include skin irritation such as burning, stinging, or redness. If you do not feel that these side effects are going away after a while, stop using Vaniqa and speak to your dermatologist. Vaniqa should not be used near the eyes, nose, or mouth, and you should take care to wash these sensitive skin areas if Vaniqa gets on them. |

Vaniqa is intended for any woman who has unwanted facial hair around their lips or under their chin. If you are allergic to any of the active ingredients, let your doctor know. Vaniqa contains ingredients including Vaniqa also contains ceteareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, glyceryl stearate, methylparaben, mineral oil, PEG-bO stearate, phenoxyethanol, propylparaben, stearyl alcohol and water.
Pregnant women should talk to their doctor before using Vaniqa. There are no studies on the use of Vaniqa during pregnancy. Those under 12 years old should not use Vaniqa.
Breastfeeding women should also consult with their physician before using Vaniqa. There is little information on whether or not this prescription is excreted in breast milk.

Vaniqa has no known drug interactions. Your doctor should know about all medication and over the counter treatments you use, and all skin products you are using.

Vaniqa Cream Missed Dose? |

Missed doses of Vaniqa should not be made up. Simply return to your usual schedule and complete the next application.

Vaniqa should stay at room temperature and never be frozen. Room temperature is between 59 and 86 degrees F, or 15 and 30 degrees C.

Anything Else I Should Know About Vaniqa Cream? |

Vaniqa cream is the only prescription proven to slow the growth of women's unwanted facial hair. The medication does not remove hair or prevent the growth of new hair, so you will still need to use your usual hair removal routine. However, you will gradually have to remove less hair and be able to do so less frequently. Use this product only on external areas.
Vaniqa will only cause gradual changes. You will not see instant results, so be patient. You can expect to see results in approximately four to eight weeks. It does take longer for some women.
If, after six months of regular use, you don't see any improvement, quit using Vaniqa. Your facial hair follicles will return to their regular condition in around eight weeks.
Store Vaniqa out of reach of children. Don't give Vaniqa to anyone, or allow them to use your medication.
